The 2010 season of Six Flags Over Texas starts on March 6. Tickets and seasonal passes are already going on sale, so be sure to order yours as soon as possible. If you are going to be in the Arlington area anytime soon, you will need to check out this awesome theme park. There are rides, shows, and attractions suitable for people of all ages. In fact, there is so much to see and do that you will need to make multiple trips to experience everything the park has to offer!
If you are into roller coasters, you need to check out rides such as Batman: The Ride and Titan. Or, if you want to go on a tower ride, you can check out Dive Bomber Alley, Mr. Freeze, and Superman: Tower of Power. These are the most thrilling rides at the park, and all have a "Max" rating. Batman: The Ride in particular is very popular and exciting. It will send you through the streets of Gotham and down underground through a network of tunnels. This ride tops 50 mph and is close to 11 stories tall.
If that isn't enough for you, then you need to ride The Titan. This ride towers 25 � stories high and has record breaking drop speeds of 85 mph. You will be taken through spirals, twists, turns, and exciting plunges. Part of the ride will take you through a 120 foot long, pitch black, underground tunnel and over a series of steep hills.There is also plenty for kids to enjoy at Over Texas. The most thrilling rides are for older kids and adults, yet there is still plenty for younger kids. Rides with a Mild or Moderate rating are safe and fun for the little ones. Cloud Bouncer, Flashback, El Sombrero, Rodeo, Silver Star Carousel, and Wile E. Coyote's Grand Canyon Blaster.In addition to the rides, there is no shortage of entertainment at this park. There are also plenty of concerts held throughout the season, including the upcoming Kris Allen and OneRepublic concert on March 20. If you get hungry or thirsty in the midst of all the fun, you can choose from a variety of restaurants, and ice cream stands.
Keep in mind that a lot of your day will be filled with standing around in line UNLESS you order tickets ahead of time on the internet. Six Flags Over Texas discount tickets are cheaper online than they are at the front entrance. You can go ahead and preorder tickets or passes. Seasonal passes are your best bet since you can use them as often as you like, whenever you like.
